The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony [Review]
Review for TicketMaster. A child to the past.
Felt like never growing up to stop loving TLOZ, and I’m betting that neither of the people in the hall. Amazing blast of memories since the first instrument stroke. The Pantages is a really nice place and I think the lenght of the program was just enough. Loved that the Orchestra Nova played almost all Ocarina of Time, which seems to be the most popular game of the franchise. I also liked the arrangements to cover complete games like Windwaker and Twilight princess. Hope to see more Game Boy titles in the next presentation, and Majora’s Mask’s songs too. Koji Kondo was totally unexpected, I feel very honored and glad to be able to presence a unique presentation from him on LA. Cool to see Pikmin Link there. She’s an amazing Link cosplayer. The orchestra performance was really good. I loved specifically the arps and the piano.
Favorite Moments: Zeldas Theme, New Wave Bossa Nova with a trumpet, Darkworld and Koji Kondo.
My seats: Section – ORCHRC, Row – UU, Start Seat 211, End Seat 212. I’d rather buy seats more to the front next time.
